I was promoted to this role in 2009. In this role I deal with a variety of customers, by answering queries about the range of products available from Hortech Systems and can advise on the best solutions required. I have the authority to order in stock according to available budget and carry out regular stock takes to ensure that a supply of equipment for sale is always available. I always search for the best deal when ordering in stock and will work hard to get the best deal for the customer. I have been entrusted to calculate discounts for customers. I am also responsible for ordering and getting equipment and stock ready for the site workmen for forthcoming jobs.

In this role I worked on site to provide irrigation solutions to a wide range of different places, including golf courses, football and cricket pitches and race courses etc. I also constructed water tanks with pumps, including the required supporting pipe work. This role involved a wide range of travelling all over the country and abroad, whilst in this role I had the opportunity to travel to Poland and Ireland to carry out work. In this role I was provided with a company vehicle and all the required tools to carry out my job role. In this role I developed a wide range of skills including, working as a team, the confidence to put my ideas forward and the ability to stick to tight deadlines.

In 2002 I decided to join Lincolnshire Police as a Special Constable. In this role I learnt a variety of different skills through the training that was offered and from being out on Police duty. In this job I developed self confidence and was trusted to deal with members of the public in a wide range of different situations. I was also trusted to make arrests and issue cautions, warnings and write out tickets. A wide range of training was offered to me whilst I was a Special Constable, including self defence training and regular update briefings.
