In my current role as Journeyman Gas MetermanI am responsible for providing efficient assistance in conducting audits for pipeline safety, system patrolling, leak survey, corrosion survey, regulator stations, gate stations, system odorization, emergency/ isolation valves, commercial meters, and instrument calibration for entire Natural Gas Division. It is worth mentioning that I support OQ and apprenticeship program training. I participate actively in city safety, department safety, and foreman safety meetings as well as Western Measurement Short Course (WGSM) Round Tables. I also deliver proactive support in planning and updating our distribution system as well as overlooking specs on inventory in stock book. I install remote monitoring programs for distribution system pressure.
