As a volunteer Search and Rescue resource I am credentialed with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and American Rescue Dog Association (ARDA). When deploying statewide I work closely with Local and State Law Enforcement to plan, co-ordinate and execute complex search strategies spanning large areas with assets from many different teams, utilizing Ground tracking teams, Air scent K9 teams and Base personnel in emergency situations spanning all phases of search operations. I also conduct training events, leading between 6 and 19 new and certified handler/K9 teams to teach and retain skills essential to fielding effective teams on a regular basis. This involves understanding and meeting the needs of a wide range of needs for teams at all different stages of readiness. As a state evaluator, I set up and conduct tests that ensure handlers are meet the requirements as established by the state of Virginia for wilderness canine handler. I am also credentialed as a Field Team Member (FTM) and Field Team Signcutter (FTS) through the VDEM Ground Search and Rescue College training program. As well as holding a member at large position on the board of directors for Virginia Search And Rescue Dog association, a 501.3c organization.

As a Senior Data Analyst in comScore's Audience Analytics department, I am responsible for delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly standardized reporting of mobile audience data to internal and external stakeholders. Ownership of the assessment and final release of the product requires my direct communication with other analysts and engineers who are responsible for the various files that make up all stages of collection, classification and data processing. In preparation for monthly production, I perform data integrity checks on raw data from multiple sources and support files feeding into the production process. I assess the data for completeness and unexpected fluctuations in volume, or any anomalies that may influence the final product. I am involved in the research and development efforts of new processes to help mature the product. This involves identifying new patterns and data anomalies in large data sets comprised of trillions of rows .I am comfortable working in an agile development environment as I work with the engineers and other team members, and conduct the QA assessments of process and code changes affecting my product. This often requires ETL across dissimilar platforms, mastery of processes that are parallel to production and the ability to identify concerns and unintended consequences of new methodologies. Outside of the production and R&D cycles, I generate ad hoc reporting for internal and external customers on the monthly data. As external investigations are addressed through Client Services I perform a 'client serving ' role to the internal stakeholders with varying degrees of technical and methodological understand of the product, helping them to understand and articulate an often highly technical answer in a customer friendly manner.

I handled an average of 400 accounts. For those accounts I filed an average of $2.5 million in disputes and drove about $2 million a year in credits. In addition to the cost analyst functions I developed reporting tools for the team that saved hundreds of man hours and provided a clearer understanding of the billing data. I was also been responsible for running weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to help ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and SAS70 guidelines.  Often, as staffing needs shifted, I was called upon to take over the work load of other analysts as they moved to different positions. I was the primary reporting asset for outsource engagements with both national and international clients. These duties often required running reports provided as baseline tools in addition to gathering requirements and building reports custom tailored to meet clients specific needs.  While still maintaining my duties as a cost analyst, I took on special projects using critical knowledge of proprietary systems and Business Objects XI that require stepping into ongoing projects in a technical role.  These projects sometimes called for learning new skills and quickly applying them to create new solutions to old problems. I was able to use these skills subsequently to assist in completing other projects and fulfilling contracts in cases where they would not otherwise be possible, often outside of my primary field of expertise.  This often involved extended contact with the customer making me one of the primary points of contact. Many of the projects required providing training to client in both proprietary systems and Business Objects XI, often to groups as large as 75. I provided customers with a solid knowledge foundation or assist them in trouble shooting specific technical problems.

Streamlined audit process for incoming international accounts to monitor for discrepancies, and generate credits resulting in several hundred thousand dollar savings per year. Prepared limited projections of expenditures based on past data and current trends in logistics to facilitate better negotiation position with vendors. Assists in construction of costing models used to set prices, prepare budgets and expense accruals. Generated ad hoc reports related to cost/profit margin analysis. Maintained positive vendor relations and correspondence to insure expedient resolution of billing issues.

Reconciled billing invoices, rectify invoice discrepancies, and corrected billing accounts for billing departments of companies with atypical billing protocols. Assisted in transition of billing functions from acquired companies to main billing department.
