MBFS - Customer Operations - Start of Life - Direct Sales Programme (DSP)Changing career paths and beginning work within the automotive industry, especially in the financial services has taught me a whole new range of skills.As a Fleet Support Specialist, I am responsible for liaising with a number of key stakeholders in MBC (Mercedes-Benz Cars) to ensure forecast targets are met. Also offering support to the DSP Orders team with email management, allocation spreadsheet maintenance – ensuring all stock is up to date and presented correctly. There is a key level of knowledge of Excel required for the management and creation of a number of different types of reports. Including the Back Order report and Fleet Stock Summary Report, which are used throughout the company to track DSP orders that cannot currently be fulfilled and monitor DSP stock levels respectively - to name a few. Each report varying in complicity and that are sent to various audience throughout the business.One of the key rapports that has be developed as a FSS, is working closely with a area of the Fleet Team in the FDM’s and SAM’s. Delivering a service to them by working with them to find/reserve stock to enable deals to be built resulting in Month End target to be hit. Working for MBFS I have been able to acquire a real office work etiquette in my first office-based job. Which in turn has enabled me to develop some of my personal skills such as time management, allowing me to prioritise important tasks over daily routine jobs, too improving my literacy skills from the upkeep of relationship with stakeholders of MBFS through frequent communication and to the retailer network.There have been many opportunities where I have been able to develop on my presenting skills to a number of areas of the business also within my department. Showcasing my work that I do as a Fleet Support Specialist and for MBFS.
