Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for helping others. Trying to make their experience with me a positive one. I grew up in a military household where I was surrounded with people who put others first. My childhood fueled that desire to also want help people and led me to sign up for the military when I graduated high school.I started in the military in the warehouse learning inventory and how to manage stock. I ordered and tracked inventory that would be coming in and out of the ship. This was a great experience that forced me to be organized and proactive, but it didn't allow me to make that individual impact I was looking for with the customer. However, since being at FedEx I have been able to reconnect with the customer on a one-on-one basis and make that personable impact I have had a fire for since being a kid. I've learned throughout my time here that people want honesty, communication, and someone that truly cares. There are always going to be problems at work - especially with the shipping industry. However, what I feel has been lost with the incredible need to get everything as fast as we can, is the human side of things. From the person that is filling the order, to the multiple people driving, flying, shipping it, to finally the currier and customer. It’s a lot of moving parts and I love making all those parts come together as one. The shipping industry is a huge customer experience driven operation and I am enjoying improving their experience and hope to continue to grow and leave my mark every single day.
