About Aaron Pexa
Lighting Designer, Licensed Architect, Urban Designer, and Gallery Represented Artist with a hybrid perspective that allows me to approach projects with a breadth of knowledge and offer innovative design solutions. Past work has included interior architectural design for the Jazz Theater at the Old U.S. Mint in New Orleans, urban masterplanning projects in London and New Orleans, and a studio art practice creating multimedia environments that weave narratives into fully immersive experiences while at the same time encouraging curiosity. My work investigates how light can be expressed as a material and integrated into the built environment while engaging human perception.Work in the permanent collections of the Museum of American Glass in Millville, New Jersey, and the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Work shown at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York City, New York, Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York, and Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, Virginia.
