As an electrical engineering student at the University of Rhode Island, I am eager to learn and apply my knowledge of electricity, power, and energy in real-world settings. I have a strong foundation in engineering from my previous studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I completed one year of coursework before transferring.I have also gained valuable hands-on experience as an apprentice electrician at James Obanhein Electric, where I installed new devices, solved technical problems, and ensured compliance with the National Electric Code. Additionally, I have served as an avionics electrical technician at the U.S. Coast Guard, where I maintained and operated electrical equipment on $30M aircraft. Through these roles, I have developed self-management, construction safety, and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and quality.My career goal is to pursue a professional path in the power and energy sector, where I can contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient solutions for various industries and communities. I am a motivated, adaptable, and collaborative learner who is always open to new challenges and feedback.
