- Habitually provided 1:1 support to fellow members through empowerment, skill acquisition, technical assistance and youth-led child welfare campaign development.- Ensured growth of the region and campaign efforts via policy/legislative advocacy, membership: outreach, engagement, and retention, and strategic organization. This led to a regional membership growth by ~40%.- Responded promptly to internal/external communication via email, phone calls and text. - Worked alongside the Community Advocacy Coordinator and other staff to facilitate virtual meetings with community partners and members, develop agendas for work groups/training sessions, and represent the region at county events.- Formulated a budget sheet to track yearly and monthly spending among 6 active chapters to reduce overspending and outline fund management for far south counties. - Spearheaded the creation of a regional newsletter that provides monthly organizational updates and resources for members and constituents of the Southern California area.- Utilized power mapping to identify stakeholders, other allies, and possible stipulations that would aid/hinder our campaign demands and priorities.- Co-facilitated a member-developed training to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to make an impactful statement to their local state representatives. This curriculum surrounded the proposed 2025 budgeted cuts to SILP/FURS/HMNP programs that would have affected foster youth housing and financial welfare.
