Mr. Pollock is an accomplished finance executive, investor, and venture capitalist, serving as the Senior Finance Lead at SWaN & Legend, a $300m+ venture capital firm and multi-family office, where he has worked for 10 years. Mr. Pollock carries a wide breadth of consumer industry experiences with current portfolio companies of personal focus including UrbanStems (online gifting), MusiCapital (music royalty purchasing), OrderGroove (SaaS), Noodle Partners (Ed-Tech), Tango Card (SaaS) and CAVA (fast casual restaurants). Former companies of focus include KIND Healthy Snacks, Custom Ink, Pinterest, and AirBnB. Presently, Mr. Pollock oversees fund valuations, new business diligence, and KPI reporting for the SWaN & Legend family of funds, and is actively involved in strategy, FP&A, fundraising, and Board of Directors operations for the following companies: Noodle Partners, Noodle Tutors, UrbanStems, MusiCapital, BigTeams, CaaStle, American Bike Ride, and OrderGroove. Mr. Pollock is a leading practitioner in capital raising, structuring, and FP&A across multiple industries, helping source and structure over 25 venture capital deals, 55 subsequent financings, and 10 exits for SWaN & Legend LPs. A focused data science practitioner, Mr. Pollock has helped numerous portfolio companies establish and enhance KPI reporting using Excel, Tableau, and Python.Prior to SWaN & Legend, Mr. Pollock was an investment banking analyst with Grace Matthews, a middle-market sell-side advisory firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Mr. Pollock received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investment and Banking, and his Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Rhetoric from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
