Much of my experience is in creative writing, but I am open to entry level positions that are willing to assist me in learning various roles. I am a hardworking, efficient writer, who just needs some opportunities to attempt various job roles. I work well with others and have no qualms with collaborating with a team, or receiving constructive feedback.Officially graduated Grand Valley State University in the spring of 2020 with my Bachelor of Arts in Writing. In addition I took a number of film production and film theory/history courses including Screenwriting I & 2, and Film Theories and American and World Cinemas. My writing related courses leaned more toward the creative side with Fiction and Poetry, and Stylistic studies but also were peppered with Professional writing and Document Design.My time at GVSU was punctuated with an internship as an Assistant Marketing Intern at LiveRoof LLC where I was responsible for creating marketing emails and a backgrounder for a recent project. This position allowed me to experiment with iContact to create the e-mail blasts, as well as an emphasis on concise writing and attempts to use SEO writing for the first time. The internship was a little cut short due to the pandemic but working remotely offered some unique challenges and introduced me to a way of working that I feel I had adapted well to.In addition to theory and a multitude of writing projects, I have intermediate experience with Adobe Indesign and Adobe Premiere. I also already subscribe to a screenwriting formatting software called Movie Magic Screenwriter.
