I served as an appointed member of Reed's Judicial and Title IX Board, which adjudicates formal complaints between members of the school community. Responsibilities here include formulating questions, arranging and holding formal hearings, deliberating and deciding sanctions, and writing formal decision letters to case participants.

My responsibilities at the library's reference desk included answering reference, technical, and informational questions from patrons of the library. This often involved engaging with patrons to discern what library resource would best serve them, and then directing them to or helping them to use that resource. I additionally worked on creating online Research Guides for the library's website.

I worked closely with the Beyond Coal campaign in the Sierra Club's Maryland chapter. My responsibilities included researching coal and other polluting energy plants in Maryland, researching census data on coal towns, researching and contacting legislative representatives, and planning protest outdoor outings to coal plants.
