With a decade of experience as a coal Power Generation Operator, I have progressed through every level of operational responsibility, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of power generation. Currently, I serve as a Power Generation Training and Development Professional, where I am dedicated to fostering the skills and knowledge of our workforce. I possess a strong proficiency in creating detailed PowerPoint presentations, Advanced Excel Spreadsheets, and comprehensive documentation in Microsoft Word. These Skills have been instrumental in my ability to communicate complex information effectively and enhance training materials for my team. A significant aspect of my role involves developing and implementing procedures that ensure our operations team is prepared for extreme hazard mitigation scenarios such as Black Plant and Turbine Lube Oil Fire response. Collaborating closely with operations at all levels I strive to embed safety and preparedness into our culture. As a Trainer I have successfully written, and implemented current testing, preventative maintenance, and startup and shutdown procedures for much of the equipment in our power plant. These procedures have become fundamental to the operations team ensuring efficiency and safety in our daily activities. I am passionate about helping others in advancement of their careers and in procedural excellence. My goal is to contribute to a more efficient and cleaner fossil fuel combustion cycle, promoting sustainability within our industry. I believe through continuous learning and development, we can drive positive change and innovation in power generation.
