I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Rowan University, where I earned my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a strong GPA of 3.967. I was honored to receive the 2024 Outstanding Overall Mechanical Engineering Student Award, which reflects my dedication to my studies, work ethic, and passion for the field.During my time at Rowan, I gained valuable hands-on experience via their Junior and Senior Clinic Projects, where I took part in projects based around the research and development of composite materials such as iron infused elastomers and metal 3D printing filaments. Additionally in my senior year, I acted as team lead on a project developing a 3D Printing Defect Detection system, which employed custom trained computer vision models, acoustic sensing, and custom python scripts to detect the occurrence of printing defects and take action to either stop or prevent them.Running concurrently to my Senior year at Rowan, I was employed as an Accessory Development and Quality Assurance Engineering Intern at Subaru of America. In this role, I was involved in the design and testing of vehicle accessories, ensuring they met high-quality standards. I also assisted in the design and implementation of systems surrounding the company's brand new 3D printing lab. This experience honed my skills in problem-solving, quality assurance, design and project management.I am a member of the Rowan chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Order of the Engineer, where I have built a strong professional network and stayed abreast of industry trends and advancements.In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I have a personal passion for 3D printing, owning 2 printers myself. I enjoy experimenting with new designs and materials, as well as working on and modifying the machines.
