The mission of the Intelligence Operations Specialist is to ensure that Intelligence functions are maintained, and when achievable, improved upon in the Iowa Army National Guard in order to provide fully trained and equipped intelligence personnel. This is done by being the subject matter expert in the organization in the fields of Intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination. As required, conduct liaison with counterparts in other intelligence agencies
