Responsible for integration and feature testing for Verso's Softswitch product line. Developed and executed test suites and procedures as well as improve existing documentation to ensure continuity between the software and test plans. Responsible for building up the lab environment, installing and racking hardware devices, configuring specific network scenarios emulating real world settings (i.e. Private -> Public -> Private environments), made several flavors of cables for use in the test beds (RJ45 Ethernet, SS7, x-over, serial). Utilized DCOSS switch simulator for SS7, ISDN and CAS testing. Used multiple brands of endpoints/gateways for SIP, MGCP, and H.323 testing. INET Spectra was also used for specific SS7 testing as well as an in-house designed SIP simulator. Performed integration testing with new SIP endpoints as well as SIP-T integration. Utilized ClearQuest defect tracking tool for bug reporting, verification and tracking. Responsible for duplicating testing efforts on Solaris/Windows, as this product was ported to run on both platforms.

Responsible for system, GUI, and performance testing for Agilent's NGN telephony/VoIP analysis product. Managed, built, and configured the test bed for the performance test effort on this product. Racked and powered all hardware devices in the lab environment. Led training efforts for employees as well as assist developers with configuration issues and general product knowledge. Develop and execute test plans. Improve current test plans and procedures to gain more accurate test results and data. Responsible for developing and executing an extensive performance analysis for this product. Utilized Rational Robot to automate testing for the GUI portion of this product as well as assist with portions of the performance aspect of testing for this product.

Responsible for leading and participating in initiatives to improve operational efficiencies in a large Data Center. Monitoring Double Click's global network, computer systems, applications, and processing operations, determining the cause of any malfunction and taking corrective action to ensure network connectivity and that systems are available to customers per established service level agreements. My specific focus was the SIP device server portion of the switch in which I handled compatibility testing of endpoints as well as SIP-T integration testing. I also handled performance testing for this product utilizing multiple INET Spectra units as well as in-house SIP call generation tools. Responsible for delivering specific and accurate metrics for these tests as to provide marketing data for performance as well as hardware recommendations for the existing infrastructure to increase performance. Designed and performed multiple training classes for the migration of work from an existing product to Lucent’s next generation SoftSwtich. Installed, configured, and provided support for all hardware and software in the lab.
