Managed an area of 90 Architects, Senior Managers and development teams across the supply chain area.Led multiple product teams across Order Processing, Order Fulfillment, Loading / Shipping, Inventory and Receiving to build out Walmart’s cloud warehouse management system.Led the Supply Chain Systems Optimization strategy, which is building out the strategy and development of the Warehouse Management Systems of the future for Walmart. Working with Operations and Product to analyze current functional capabilities with those in the industry; streamlining current business processes; building out or buying new capabilities and developing Supply Chain Orchestration technology. Implemented package software, as well as, led the development of software for the future of Walmart.

Led an area of 42 Research Scientists, Architects, Senior Managers and development teams across Logistics and Transportation.Led the development of product and technology roadmaps, architecture platforms and technology POCs across the Supply Chain area, leading to the development of the first Nextgen WMS product on HTML5, JavaScript and JAVA.Introduced Optimization Research to Walmart Logistics and brought on multiple Research Scientists who were able to develop math models that averaged $70M in savings per year for Walmart.Led the Next Generation Supply Chain Strategy, which included working with data scientists to create a dynamic linear forecasting model that accounted for disruptions in the supply chain versus a static Holt-Winters, sales history focused model. Led the development of Scheduler 2.0 and Automated Inbound Scheduling, bringing significant technology advances for our suppliers and business customers, as well as, better visibility to inbound volume and schedules.

Led the development and deployment of Walmart’s Global Warehouse Management system (GLS) in DC’s around the globe.Effectively led 3rd party and associate development teams across geography and was able to significantly increase engagement and quality of delivery.Managed and mentored 20 tech leads and developers for the GLS system.

Managed and mentored 17 associates with skill sets in Project Leadership, Programming, Business Analysis, Vendor Management, and Contract Management.Used expertise in Business Intelligence to lead the team in implementing the Logistics BI platform.Created / modified multiple forums and processes to help align teams, speed the software delivery process and gain quality with delivery.Presented technology strategies at multiple large forums, such as, International CIO Summits and divisional meetings.

Manage team(s) of developers/analysts with various skillsets in Java, PL/SQL, Shell, PERL, XML, EDI, Business Process Modeling and various middleware proprietory languages (webMethods, etc..). Mentor the team on the above technical skillsets, project and resource management, and business process modeling.
