- Heading direct hotel procurement function for Europe, Africa and Middle East within EF World Journeys Tour Operator, (Go Ahead & Ultimate Break Tours). Enactus UK (formerly SIFE) is a Non-Profit Company aimed to promote economic opportunity for people in the local community and abroad. Enactus Nottingham ltd is a branch of Enactus UK and has been one of the most successful UK teams in the annual Enactus National Competition. Under my leadership, Enactus Nottingham came in the top 4 teams out of 47 in the country, presenting in the final round in front of 500+ people including CEOs from blue-chip companies.As President, we ran 14 projects around the world and in Nottingham. These included projects in Kenya and Sri Lanka, as well as working with Nottingham City Council and other organisations to run projects within the UK. Our UK projects included delivering Social and Employability sessions in Nottingham Prison, delivering a retail qualification to Nottingham citizens and providing mentoring to the long-term unemployed, and teaching business education within schools. I ran a team of 180 active members this year. We raise our own funds as a team and have set up a student travel agency, GiveGo Travel, enabling students to have travel opportunities abroad. These include volunteering in Ghana and internship and teaching opportunities in China.
