As an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, I focus on the ethics of AI, attention, political philosophy, and Buddhist thought. My current research explores the ways technology influences human freedom and moral responsibility. I have designed and taught courses on political and Buddhist philosophy, the philosophy of technology, healthcare ethics, and the relationship between media, propaganda, and justice.As a member of the CAIDP Research Group, I conduct in-depth research on AI policy, focusing on global frameworks like the OECD AI Principles and the UNESCO Recommendations. I collaborate with a diverse international team and contribute to AI policy development with a focus on human rights, transparency, and democratic values. My work aims to advance responsible and ethical AI practices worldwide.
