Music is my passion, and I can recall my earliest memory of performing a solo in public was with my mother at a local choir event. From that point on it seems like I have never stopped singing. I have performed in the Auburn community on several occasions including being involved in a number of public plays and musicals held at the Jan Dempsey Art Center. Continuing my love for the arts in higher education lead me to the position of Minister of Music at a neighboring church in Enterprise, AL. While in this position I was able to develop valuable skills in public communication, leadership, and soundboard operation. I continued to sharpen my performance skills by performing lead roles in local productions including, performing as Rooster from the musical Annie and Melchior from the operetta Amahl and the Night Visitors. My long-term goal is to perform professionally on a large platform, and I’d also like to incorporate my music composition skill. I am searching for a mentor in the music industry and possible shadowing opportunities.
