Hailing from Kansas City, Aaron brings an eclectic expertise to the counseling field. Combining 10 years of leadership experience in community mental health with 14 years of direct clinical services gives a pragmatic way to see solutions to barriers we face. Aaron’s commitment to helping individuals heal & passion for nature as a place of calming has lead him to founding gokc. ‘I love the calming presence found in the woods. When we remember that we’re part of this world, there’s such great potential for healing, balance & inspiration.’ Aaron has clinical expertise in nature therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, men’s & fathering issues & chronic mental illness such as Bi-Polar, PTSD, depression & anxiety based disorders. An additional passion is the cultivation of competent clinicians through effective and supportive clinical supervision. Having worked with over 30 developing clinicians, Aaron has established a collaborative learning environment for multi-competency building clinical supervision.
