Designed a functional FM receiver PCBA that played the campus radio station. ➢ Designed with KiCAD and made in the campus lab with CNC on 2-layer copper clads➢ Made a dipole antenna ➢ Implemented impedance matching balun & LC circuits, low-noise & power amplifiers, RF Filters, and mixing/demodulation ICs onto my PCB and soldered it all up➢ Learned all that and stumbled my way to an actually functional prototype in 10 weeks with many sleepless nights determined to make it work.
