I was promoted to this role to establish the first Well Construction Planner position for the Midland office, with responsibility for all aspects of process and procedure implementation, KPI set up, and ongoing operations and performance management. Throughout my time in this role, I developed strong competencies in using DV tools, combo tools, casing packers, air lock sub, and rotating cement head. I performed verifications on the compatibility and functionality of all materials, casing, and tools utilized in casing & cementing works, and operated all casing tools in accordance with standard running procedures, safety specifications, and company protocols. I was also responsible for training new hires and assessing each individual’s competency and ability to follow standard run procedures, managing the team’s performance and upskilling individuals as necessary, and for providing regular reports and updates to the senior leadership team.

I was recruited as the company’s Lead Technician with responsibility for performing field tool repairs and refurbishments (RANs) for Modular Formation Dynamic (MDT) wire line tool strings. I managed requirements for production and field work order requests, ensuring all deadlines and requirements were satisfactorily met and conducted inspections on finished products to evaluate the quality and determine adherence to the clients’ specifications. I accessed technical drawings and plans to fabricate large and small-scale components and parts and assemble as required. I also performed troubleshooting and issue analysis on equipment, devices, and products and carried out relevant issue resolution efforts. At all times, I promoted a safe, clean workplace and supervised staff to ensure that all safety & quality standards were met and upheld.

As a member of the US Navy, I participated in multiple tours of duty and held accountability for maintaining four LM2500 propulsion gas turbine engines & three Allison 501 K34 gas turbine generators, troubleshooting all turbine engine issues, and managing overhauls. I had one year of oil lab experience, developing expertise in refueling & fuel management systems, and lube oil & fuel oil quality assessment and monitoring. After that, I served two years as the Main Engine Room Operator, conducting engine inspections in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and maintaining change engines & accessories. I was appointed to the position of Main Engine Room Supervisor (one-year tenure), overseeing a team of 5-7 technicians in the maintenance of the engine room operations & equipment.
