I am currently seeking new roles in public service settings that draw on my public service experience. I am adaptable with a service focus to deliver positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders.- I currently work for the NDIA as a Business Support Officer in the Compensation Recoveries branch. - From Nov 2017 to Mar 2021 I was working for the Department of Defence in a large-scale digitisation project. Prior to this, I worked for Services Australia and for the ABS as a Data Analyst and Office Support Administrator. In the ATO I undertook investigations / audits to assist in the resolution of tax amendments in a fast paced, compliance driven environment. A favour quote of mine is from Zig Ziglar, “You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people to get what they want”. I am also a big believer in finding practical solutions to address problems and issues identified in operational processes through using effective communication to:- identify bottlenecks and obstacles.- find solutions that meet with branch organisational priorities.- energise the gathering and sharing of information within team and branch settings to assist in the implementation of operational strategies.I have a service background that meets with the needs of clients and stakeholders, complemented by time and case management skills to achieve timely outcomes.I am also good at editing and communicating operational and agency objectives to clients and recipients to focus on meeting mutually agreeable outcomes.I consider my greatest attributes to be:Commited to improvement; I look to improve operational processes and find ways to enhance my performance and efficiency, particularly with regard to case management.Working collaboratively with others in team, branch and agency settings, to achieve operational targets and milestones. Sharing knowledge and information when assisting clients and colleagues.Selected professional achievements include:Meeting KPI's and case cohort targets in demanding APS roles within the ATO, ABS, DHS, Dept of Defence & the NDIA.Achieving agreement with difficult customers with significant tax debts when I was in the ATO role.Instigated change of practice for managing TFN suppressions across departments in ATO.I successfully implemented operational process improvements in my ATO compliance role for small business tax reporting and BAS lodgement.Outside of work, I am currently pursuing Aikido as a hobby which is really useful for learning to deal with distraction and managing pressure.
