In June 2014 I started working with a company called The Austin Focus Inc. Although i no longer am employed there I learned so much about sales, marketing, and being an entrepreneur. I also learned how to manage people, including interviewing, hiring, training, and just being a personal mentor to help them grow. I also learned a complete different mindset that I think is rare to find these days. I learned to be goal oriented, and to push every single day to be 1% better, not only professionally but personally. I believe the 3 things that will make someone successful in any position is a student mentality, a positive attitude, and a great work ethic. I believe I possess all three of these characteristics and am willing to go above and beyond for the right opportunity. Lastly I just want to leave you with an excerpt from an email that was sent to The Austin Focus’s owner regarding an individual I was mentoring… ‘‘Before I end this email I do want to mention an individual who impacted my growth greatly not only as an individual but as an employee. Aaron was not only great in the field and guided me every step of the way but he also taught by example. I have been around many great owners and leaders who have impacted my career and Aaron could compete with the best, I truly believe he will be a great manager.’’Receiving that was truly motivating especially because he was only with us a short time, and to impact someone that fast is super motivating to me as an individual. The fact that someone took the time out to write such nice things, makes everything worth it.
