I have been a successful CAD Technician/designer with civil engineering experience seeking a position assisting a professional engineer and the project manager as a civil design technician. I bring my experience, education, and “Eagle Eye for detail” approaches to projects in order to provide valued work. My design experience includes civil planning and design for residential, commercial, industrial, FDOT roadway, Environmental and survey of development projects, giving me a wide and varied set of skills. When I was at King Engineering I assisted the project manager many projects at the same time and developed approaches for dealing with such responsibilities. I delegated the project’s tasks to other team members, achieving deadlines efficiently and with quality results. My previous professional experience includes land title, survey, architecture, gas and fiber optic utilities positionsI am greatly interested in increasing efficiency of the design process through software procedures, quality assurance, and data documentation. While these are often looked at as mundane tasks that are not directly relevant to projects, I recognize that they are subtle yet critical aspects of any project.
