With a background in AutoCAD drafting, I have the ability to work between CAD and GIS software.I am experienced in all aspects of Geographic Information Systems: designing data structures and managing large data sets; data creation and GPS data capture; geospatial analysis; and displaying and sharing data.Recently I have dedicated efforts to build a complete web-based GIS solution from open source software including PostGIS, GeoServer, QGIS, OpenLayers, Drupal and Python.Volunteer work has included providing mapping support to assist the Lakota Nation to define the tribal boundary defined in the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1851 in order to make their claims to sovereign land.
