Member of the site EHSS investigation team for two incidents and led efforts to update, complete, and audit the unit's powder handling survey and dust collection systems as a result of one of the investigations. Engineered solutions for a failing process water sump pump, improving rate on a dated line by performing PSV and blower sheave sizing calculations, and improving operational capabilities to allow for unloading of bulk trucks for rework and for packing into supersacks or totes. Drove site safety efforts to improve signage around, and functionality of, railroad crossing arms on site, update emergency shutdown signage around the unit, and repair the warehouse truck docking stations, indicators, and signage.

Member of an operations engineering team in a PBT production unit. Led troubleshooting and design efforts to address pellet accumulation in the unit's process water system which had resulted in several recent unit shutdowns and is the unit's worst actor for the American Chemistry Council's (ACC) Operation Clean Sweep (OCS). Drafted and received approval on a new P&ID of the unit's safety critical foam fire suppression system. Developed Aspen Process Explorer pages to monitor unit performance and improve troubleshooting efforts. Performed calculations, met with vendors, and advised the unit on recommended dosing of a new catalyst for the primary unit reactor. Mapped Satellite Accumulation Areas sitewide for hazardous and non-hazardous DOT controlled substances to comply with OSHA standards.
