I am a Student at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, majoring in Integrated Professional Studies. I chose this major because I am passionate about learning about work place communication and improving my leadership in the workforce. I am a quick thinker who loves to problem solve and stay organized. I hope to work for a company who pushes and encourages their employees to strive for excellence. Using Linkedin, I hope network with fellow problem solvers and potential employers. I am very fortunate to have had many job experiences where I gauge a sense of how different types of companies are run. From running a small town theater to working at the most magical place on Earth, I realize that the guests and customers are the heart of any business. Maintaining an exceptional experience for guests and providing the opportunity for memories to be made is what I strive for in my places of employment. I genuinely care about the individual needs of the guest. Operating Lexington Cinema 8, I learned the traits of how to be a successful leader. I lead my team of employees through the busy times and the not so busy times once COVID-19 struck. We had to think of new ways to offer a fresh, exciting, and safe way for guests to have a pleasurable viewing experience. Collaborating with the owner, we communicated on ways to problem solve and navigate through trying times. We opened a new addition to the theater, a drive in! This increased our customer base while keeping everyone safe! When I am not working, you can find me traveling the country. In fact, I just recently accomplished my goal of visiting all 48 continental US states in under a year. My best friend and I spent the summer backpacking across the country discovering the unique beauty of each state.
