I once heard a quote like this: there are only two things you can control, your attitude and your effort. I approach all things in my personal and professional life with this quote in the back of my mind. Today, as the head coach in FC Delco Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and as a teacher, I remind my students and athletes of this every day. I set high expectations, provide a framework for success, and mentor and motivate to reach those expectations.I have spent over 15 years working in organized athletics at a university and college level and in elite clubs. My specialty is leading women and girls' soccer programs and aligning athletic and academic achievement. I have held assistant coach, head coach, sports information director, player development, teacher, and operations manager positions and operations (catering) at professional golf events. In coaching, I am hands-on and work to understand the individual needs of my players and the team as a whole. In addition, I am actively involved in recruiting a diverse and skilled group of athletes.
