After high school, Aaron served in the United States Marine Corps, which instilled in him a robust discipline and leadership acumen — values he subsequently brought to his studies at Washington University.Upon graduation, he joined the Gatewood Wealth Solutions team, resolute in his mission to help clients realize their financial aspirations. As Aaron assumed greater leadership roles to foster the firm’s expansion, his proven success and distinctive leadership style paved the way for his elevation to partnership in the company. This progression ultimately culminated in him succeeding the firm’s founder, John Gatewood, stepping into the pivotal position of CEO. In his role, Aaron guides the strategic direction of the firm. His responsibilities encompass defining the company’s vision, setting operational goals, and overseeing all business activities to ensure they align with the firm’s mission.Leading with a client-centric approach, Aaron ensures that all initiatives prioritize clients’ financial health and long-term goals. He fosters an innovative culture that seeks to stay ahead of market trends, adapt to evolving clients’ needs, and offer superior wealth management services. This certification indicates the holder’s advanced understanding of investment analysis and portfolio management skills.Aaron maintains his Series 6, 7 & 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial, as well as his Life and Health license.

Aaron is an Associate Wealth Management Advisor and Director of Investment Management. After serving our country in the United States Marine Corps, Aaron received a Bachelor’s degree from Washington University, where he graduated Cum Laude. Aaron holds his Series 7, 6, and 63 registrations, as well as Life and Health licenses. Aaron has achieved his CLU®, (Chartered Life Underwriter), CFP®, (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER), and ChFC®, (Chartered Financial Consultant). He is a CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst)*. Through careful research and analysis using Morningstar, Envestnet, and Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company's internal professional research analysts, Aaron helps select the appropriate investment solution for each client. These include traditional brokerage, fee based advisory, private client service with professional discretionary investment management, and trust services. Aaron is also responsible for all portfolio re-balancing, security selection and monitoring, performance reporting and annuity strategies.Aaron and his wife, Lindsey, live in Webster Groves with their son, Ira. Aaron is an avid Cardinal’s baseball fan, and enjoys playing softball, volleyball or other sports with friends.
