I have channeled my passion for psychology and research into my studies of human-computer interaction in order to gain experience in user research, usability evaluation, accessibility evaluation, and human-centric design. I am primarily interested in getting to the root of a user's problem and dissecting it to fully understand every facet. I firmly believe that the most elegant solutions arise from a wholistic understanding of a challenge.My mindset is a result of my experience in psychology research, working as a lab manager at Michigan State University. I have designed studies examining discrete interpersonal dynamics and used the data collected to develop reports for presentation at the Society for Interpersonal Theory and Research national conference, as well as the Society for Personality Research national conference.I am exited to bring my perspective and apply interpersonal principals as I grow my career in the User Experience space.
