Function as a HR Generalist, responsible for all aspects of HR up to and to include: Payroll Administration, Benefits/Compensation, Training & Development, Recruitment/Selection and Employee Relations.- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for 165 salaried/hourly employees using Kronos.- Coach Managers on the process of evaluating employees, setting goals, conducting objective performance reviews, and recognizing and awarding performance to improve productivity as well as guidance to provide mentorship to aspiring employees looking to advance their careers within the company.- Handle employee terminations, grievance and other difficult situations in a sensitive, fair and respectful manner, working closely with legal counsel, supervisors and management.- Plan and develop on-the-job training programs for both salaried and hourly employees and career development programs with a focus on engagement, recognizing and improving talent, retaining and reducing employee turnover.- Serve as the go to person with HRIS and IT computer related issues Accomplishments- Through mentorship, development, and guidance, seen over 100+ employees promoted to greater positions to include senior leadership roles.- Through changing culture values and focus, increase revenue in one store by 20 million in a 7 year timespan and another store by 10 million in a 2 year timespan which in turned created huge increase in profitability.- Successfully helped to improve market wide female leadership program which has seen multiple female promotions in last 6 months helping to fulfill Affirmative Action and OFCCP goals.
