As part of the leadership team of the Office of the Registrar, I am responsible for the actions that have a financial impact to students including managing and coordinating the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), tuition classification, and processing out-of-state tuition waivers as well as supervise the administration of VA Education Benefits.• Serve as primary point of contact for various tuition waivers and tuition classification and coordinate the In-State Residency Petition review group.• Process ARCHE Cross Registration and Academic Common Market applications as the coordinator for each for the University of Georgia.• Serve as the University's coordinator for the University System of Georgia's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) including supervising the TAP processor.• Work with Payroll and Bursar to compile and reconcile reports of TAP beneficiaries for reporting to USG and liaison with other TAP coordinators across the USG to ensure TAP forms are processed in a timely manner.• Supervise the administration of VA Education Benefits and serve as secondary school certifying official.• Troubleshoot Banner job failures or configuration and calendar-related issues.• Ensure tuition waver/exemptions applications and documentation meet Board of Regents policies and requirements.• Manage system student attributes and coordinate with various units on campus for receipt of the attributes affecting tuition and fees• Provide backup supervisory support for the Office of the Registrar Student Service Center
