I have worked in the golf course industry where, after completing my apprenticeship in Townsville, I headed to the USA to further my skills. During this time, I held two positions, firstly in general maintenance at an old private golf club before helping build a Tom Fazio designed golf course. This three years spent near Seattle in the Pacific Northwest was some of the most rewarding in both my personal and professional life.Returning to the Gold Coast at the end of 2001, I eventually settled as Assistant Superintendent at Links Hope Island before being promoted to Superintendent at the start of 2006 for which I stayed until April 2008.Seeking a change of career direction, I took a Sales Representative position at Jimboomba Turf until June 2012. I then continued in the turf sales industry by working for an independent turf broker with All About Turf where I am today.
