Colleagues describe him as "I've known Aaron for almost 8 years now. When one of our key people at Kaiser suggested that I meet him, as we were working on similar optimizations, I thought it was likely that I'd teach him more than I'd learn. Incorrect, as it turns out! Aaron had developed similar approaches to extrusion optimization but hadn't enough years of experience or use (or understanding of some "IE based tools". I, on the other hand, lacked someone to bounce ideas off of and who would challenge my concepts and optimization direction. We worked together "like peas and carrots" (to borrow from Forrest Gump); together we enhanced and developed new extrusion optimization techniques that neither alone would be likely to achieve. Punch line: Aaron has tremendous ability to see problems and likely opportunities. He is both intuitive AND systematic (sometimes one without the other, while common, isn't ideal).
