ENGINEERING TECHNICAL LEADER (2013- 2013); LEAD SYSTEM ENGINEER, DOD (2009- 2013)Led project teams and direct reports on DoD avionics programs. Responsible for contract deliverables and led bid & proposal activities. Transitioned international manufacturing and test capabilities to the US. Led the transition of an international manufacturing facility, including ITAR and EAR requirements, from overseas to the USA. Saved $330,000 on a Cost Plus DoD contract by circumventing superfluous DO-160 verification activities through customer approved waivers.

Built and tested a mock flight deck for an integrated modular architecture (IMA) system, Pro Line Fusion. Wrote and executed design plans, requirements, and certification plans and worked with the certification authorities, FAA & EASA, to perform DO-254, DO-178, and DO-160 verifications. As lead system integrator of the ProLine Fusion Flight Deck, found feature similarities & value propositions that could be replicated across multiple product lines.
