Held PE responsibilities at two of the company’s mills in Neenah and Appleton WisconsinAssist Operations in managing/supervising two paper machines at the Appleton Plant making text, cover, writing and some specialty papers.Managed a project to reduce fiber picking at the press of both paper machines at the Appleton Plant. Ran trials, gathering data and fiber analysis. Worked with Chemical Vendors to ultimately introduce a release chemical, which not only reduced picking at the press, but also allowed a 10% increase in machine speed on problematic grades.Led a Six-Sigma Green Belt project that resulted in a $150,000/yr savings from broke reduction coming from color changes on the #4 paper machine.Assisted in project to start-up #3 paper machine at the Neenah Plant, after it had been idled for 3 years. This included establishing training documentation and training of new operators around the stock preparation, machine, and winder processes.
