On-shored the Abbott Mobility department in 2019 by replacing repetitive manual processes with CI/CD tasks and automation using Azure DevOps. I personally coordinate review of all new and modified mobile applications for Abbott. I design, develop and deploy process improvements to the mobile application deployment lifecycle. I collaborate with Med Device and business teams throughout all divisions of Abbott. I develop and execute training and guidance for Business owners and mobile development teams contracted to various business units as well. I worked closely with Patient Therapy access to convert a paper workflow to a much more efficient process and set of procedures. I designed and implemented a reporting system to allow management to view various phone switch statistics for the call center. Created reports such as average hold time with drill downs to group and individual. Created "virtual timecard" that showed any individuals actual logged in times in relation to their assigned schedule. The system was written in Cold Fusion with some Javascript for client side validation and context sensitive help. The backend database was SQL Server.

Contract programmer writing web based applications in Perl using DBD:DBI to a mySQL database. Wrote Perl interfaces to various Airline and Hotel booking systems as well as web based applications.

Contract developer writing Perl code to generate competitive analysis reports. The data was gathered through web spiders that pulled competitive rates from the web. Various data was stored in CSV format after being pulled from the web. DBD:DBI was used to generate SQL queries against this data.

My responsibilities as Project Leader were customization and implementation of Dallas Systems' Warehouse Automation System. • Designed, wrote, and implemented Informix 4gl, customizations to shipping, receiving, perpetual adjustments and receiving. • Responsible for technical liaison with customers during the design, implementation, and support phases of each project.• Responsible for Informix database administration tasks on IBM RISC systems during implementation and support phases of the project.

At Hotel Clearing Corporation, I worked to improve and automate a commission processing system to consolidate hotel stay commission for over 46,000 hotel properties, reconcile, reports on and generate B2B files to banks in order to cut commission checks. Each month, millions of dollars in commission payments were consolidated and distributed to travel agencies in more than 200 countries. • Realized a significant improvement in performance and reduction in operational manpower required to process month-end commission. • Responsibilities included Informix 4gl programming, Informix database administration, Perl scripting, Korn Shell scripting and Unix system administration on HP RISC platforms.

I was the sole DOS Payroll 4.3 programmer / analyst. Designed and wrote all new features for DacEasy 4.3 payroll using C in a DOS environment. Coordinated with QA department for testing and preparation for retail distribution on 5 1/4 Floppy disks!

Wrote several internal systems including a Software change request system in PL/I, a Software Release Library management system in PL/I, and a binary load compare program in C. I was also responsible for several maintenance programs used on the DSC MegaHub switching system.

Designed and developed statistical analysis routines for a Windows 3.0 program that generated manpower simulations for the Air Force. Worked on one contract with this company and delivered my 1/3 of the project on time. Worked with two other developers to integrate systems for the statistical analysis (my part), the database storage and retrieval and the reporting system, which was a windows 3.0 application.
