Worked with El Paso Electric for over a year designing, constructing and project managing electrical substations. Interned 6 months with Clark Construction and McCarthy for the Beaumont Replacement Hospital a 1.2 billion project with over million square footage. Graduated Summa Cum Luade and top of my class in Civil Engineering. Was awarded the Dr. Andrew D. Jones Outstanding Academic award for demonstrating academic excellence. I was fortunate to be awarded scholarships from the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, Hispanic Scholarship Foundation and the Shell Incentive Fund. I am part of the Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi honor society. Completed my masters in civil engineering with a focus in geotech at the University of Texas in El Paso.I am currently working for El Paso Electric as a transmission engineer designing high voltage lines 69kV - 345 kV all over the El Paso and New Mexico territory.I am an engaged learner and enjoy interesting projects that have an impact in my community. I am naturally extroverted and enjoy reading literature in psychology and philosophy.
