As an Eagle Escort, I directed vehicles to assist students who are incapacitated or in need to receive transport around Boston College's campuses. I received calls from fellow students and advised on-staff van drivers on their location and destination.

I conducted demographic research of the Boston community, Mattapan, looking for trends in specific areas of interest such as age, families with children, employment and crime. Additionally I also investigated property ownership trends in the neighborhood, focusing primarily on owner-occupied tendencies and absentee ownership behavior.

I served as a research intern at Utile, Inc., conducting queries into the state of urban industrial neighborhoods in the Greater Boston Area. By conducting site visits, probing census data, and conducting GIS analysis, I examined the viability of these neighborhoods, the clustering of business types that existed, and the the strengths that these areas possessed with regard to industrial business. Additionally, my research studies included investigations into what various United States municipalities were doing to retain urban industrial businesses and individual projects in which industrial developments were being created or combined with other uses such as residential and commercial purposes.
