With over eight years of experience in the social service sector, Aaron Asmus is the co-founder and president of Resourceful Elephant Group (REG), a company that guides communities forward on a strategic path through a community centered assessment and planning process. Aaron and his team at REG uncover the primary social service needs within a community and identify solutions that organizations can implement to make a direct impact within the community. Aaron's mission is to help communities evolve and thrive by leveraging data analytics and strategic planning.Before launching REG in 2016, Aaron served in various roles at PetSmart Charities, where he managed and developed grants and programs for spay and neuter, emergency relief, clinic capacity building, and adoption projects across the US and Canada. Aaron also has extensive management and operational experience from his time as a store manager and a management trainer for PetSmart, as well as the executive director for the Cat Adoption Team. Aaron specializes in operations, management, financial analysis, program assessment, and strategic planning.
