About Aaron Wells

Having been directly involved with information technology for both higher education and the private sector for the last 20+ years, I have worked directly with many different aspects of IT. From agile web application development, system administration, enterprise data warehousing & reporting, business intelligence & data analytics to people management, I have developed a love for being at the confluence of people and technology. Whether it be customers or co-workers, individual contributors or teams, one-on-one chats or presentations to senior management, I truly enjoy what I do. In my current role as a senior solutions architect, no two days are the same and each day (sometimes each hour) brings new challenges and problems to solve, customers to help, troubleshooting to perform or a new solution to design and build. I am always looking and listening for things to improve, value-added features to implement, repetitive manual processes to automate or a tasks to make easier. I am the type of person who is constantly looking for new ways to learn and improve and any job that challenges me to grow my knowledge and understanding while at the same time allows me to apply my existing skills in new ways is a job I would be interested in. I am passionate about working with great people to accomplish great things and always give others the benefit of the doubt.
