Not your grandparent’s accountant. I solve problems business owners didn’t even know they had. I was once almost attacked by a shark, sea kayaking in Hawaii while reconciling the books. Wish I could say that! Alas, it was only while sea kayaking.My personal motto is “Everything can be improved!” Because of this, I am on a journey to never stop learning. This usually takes the form of reading software roadmaps at 3 in the morning. For most, this would be better than counting sheep, for me it is like binging your favorite show on Netflix.My passion for technology has spread across every area of my life. I am happy to say that I have combined that with passion for Accounting and Teaching into my daily job, or should I say daily fun.I help business owners stop working in their business and get back to working on their business. After all most business owners didn’t go into business to do accounting at 1 in the morning on Sundays. WE DID!Whether it’s automating the entire invoicing system, advising CTO’s on how to connect their back-end to their accounting system, or just making entire processes automated and virtual - I love doing it all by bringing a unique thought process to the table.I have classic accounting background with a twist. I began doing tax returns, financial statements and general advising to privately held businesses and start-ups. Quickly it became evident that I had a larger passion for mixing technology, accounting and being efficient with my time. Afterall who wants to do the work that their computer can do for them?This evolved into performing the typically internal accounting function virtually for our clients while following the highest standards of accounting. In turn, that allows us to focus on meaningful business conversations with you, the business owner- not just transactional.
