I am responsible for the legislative and public affairs programs for the Medical Board of California. As a member of the Executive Team, I advise the Board's appointed members and executive staff on the policy and political impacts of proposed legislation. I advocate for the Board's legislative priorities before the California State Legislature and Governor's Administration and manage our public information team, which is responsible for media relations, public outreach, and the publication of our quarterly newsletter. Further, I am the key point of contact for other policy advocates who have an interest in the Board's licensing and enforcement programs.
