As the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security my responsibilities included design and implementation of the complete IT infrastructure and the support teams that managed and monitored it. During the first 16 months, Dollar Express aggressively deployed Ceridian HRIS, Oracle Financials, Symphony GOLD ERP, as well as full technology uplift to all stores. This technology uplift included identifying, testing and deployment of all new hardware and software for store Point of Sale and inventory management systems within 10 months of the company’s formation. During these implementations, security and compliance was of paramount concern, with a focus on exceeding PCI and SOX IT requirements through technology, process and education.
