International Operations Manager
CurrentCombining financial, operations and management skills the role of the International Operations Manager is to provide excellent client service to our performer members and their management, and the International Collective Management Organisations (CMO’s) and Agencies that entrust their performers rights to RAAP.RAAP is responsible for the collection and distribution of domestic and international broadcast and public performance royalties to both Irish and international performers engaging with agencies representing over one million performers.The role of International Operations Manager includes (but is not limited to):• Key contact for over 50 international CMO’s across Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America.• The collection of our member’s royalties from these CMO’s, and the distribution of Irish income to their members.• Contributing to the Business Working Group and Audio Visual Working Group within the international industry body SCAPR (Societies' Council for the Collective Management of Performers' Rights). Also a member of the Distribution Calendar Enhancement Subgroup.• Analysing performance of all foreign bilateral agreements end to end to ensure effective pay through to artists.• Provide cover to the CEO where required.• Lead engagement with key members and management companies to ensure ongoing alignment with their requirements.• Composing reports for and responding to queries from the Board of Directors.• Continued updating of all systems and business processes and driving change within operational teams• International travel to forge relationships and improve exchange procedures.• Participate in public/online/college events as subject matter expert on performance rights.• Responding to member’s queries in a professional, clear, concise and time effective manner.• Assist the finance team with the annual audit and ad-hoc reports.
