Responsible for the assembly and qualification of required pharmaceutical grade equipment, start-up and maintenance of daily production in potent drug GMP labs and plant scale areas. Performs and interprets in-process control checks and batch record review. Safely operates and maintains fluid solvent transfer systems for highly toxic and flammable virgin solvent and waste streams up to 50,000gal capacity. Maintains appropriate level of equipment, supplies, PPE, and qualified raw materials. Maintains all process orders, raw material usage, batch records, including SAP and QC/QA samples. Conforms to safety, GMP, and Federal/CO State environmental standards. Maintains a high level of 5S organization for operational excellence, document traceability, and process validation goals.

Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, researching, and working with an engineering staff to create functional prototypes for cannabis/hemp extraction equipment. Managing a team of 3 direct reports to execute fabrication and testing of prototypes. Directly interfacing with clients on-site to troubleshoot and facilitate integration with existing manufacturing processes. Identifying requirements, utility needs, and safety hazards associated with integrating new equipment into existing manufacturing processes, including risk management. Creating and submitting of design packages to 3rd party engineering review teams, as well as state agencies to obtain canna/hemp manufacturing licensing (NM Dept. of Environment), and state branding rights (New Mexico True Program). Writing and maintaining of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for training, operational, and regulatory documentation.

Responsible for interfacing with clients and engineering staff to facilitate equipment sales, writing work-orders, maintaining back-end business processes such as payroll and payables execution, invoicing, materials procurement, website maintenance/HTML/content writing, and back-end IT support for company computer assets. Managing tradeshow presence, booth setup, and direct sales. Maintaining servers/workstations, troubleshooting, backups, and anti-virus. Interfacing with New Mexico/Colorado tax entities, workman's comp/insurance, and tax liability compliance.

Responsibilities: Facilitating the night-time operations of the telescope and provide for the safety of observatory personell, instruments, and equipment, and assisting in the daily upkeep/maitenence of the facility, telescope, and instruments. Determining the open/close state of the telescope to ensure safe observing, as well as maximizing data collection uptime. Supporting LBTO/UofA staff and visiting observers in whatever technical capacity necessary.
