Reads production and delivery schedules and stacking pattern to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallet, and destination of loaded pallet. Observes glassware moving along conveyor to identify glassware and to detect defective glassware, and presses console buttons to deflect glassware to predetermined accumulator lines. Turns selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of glassware on pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to storage or delivery platform. Stops equipment to clear jams, and informs supervisor of equipment malfunction. Maintain safety and good housekeeping in work area. Insure the manufacturing of glass containers are within customer specifications and quality standards are strictly adhered to. Comply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within Department responsibilities.Responsible for inspecting finished glassware for conformance to quality standards, examines glassware for defects, like cracks, chips, and reams wavy distortions, discolorations and blisters. Verifies weight dimensions of glassware, like height, circumference, thickness and bottle throat openings, using templates, jigs, micrometers and fixed gauges; or monitors automatic gauging equipment and measures glassware. Examines glass for annealing defects, and removes glassware to unjam automatic equipment, throws rejects in cullet waste glass bin or conveyor belt.

Operated material handling equipment to offload supplies and staged the incoming supplies in the correct location. Assisted electricians in installing solar panels for a 20 kW solar panel system. Assisted in customer service in the recycling area and delivered solar panels to customer.
