My name is Aaron Cobbs. I am a writer, artist, designer, and editor. My work has been published in several magazines, including The Phoenix, Focus Magazine, and The Pulse. In May of 2018, I received my B.A. in Professional Writing from Baylor University and will pursue a career in trade or academic publishing. I’ve been a designer since my sophomore year of high school, where I discovered a passion for Adobe Photoshop. From there, I branched out to the full Adobe Creative Suite and am continually adding new design skills to my portfolio. Design for me is about bringing to light the elements that shape and mold a story or written work. Design can either enhance a product or crush its potential. My goal is to enhance the product: to draw the eye to it using vibrant colors, striking images, and unique text placements that, when combined, give the viewer something to ponder. Design is more than just a pretty picture: it’s a work of art.
