Manage short and long term projects conducted on behalf of municipalities, government ministries (Finance, Transportation, Housing and Construction), public entities (Planning Authority, Land Authority, Urban Regeneration Authority, Israel Railways) and private developers across Israel. Projects span a variety of disciplines and sectors, requiring ongoing client relationship management, daily cooperation of in-house real estate appraisers, economists and engineers alongside external architects and consultants, as well as proficient use of ArcGIS.Project areas include:1/ Strategic planning and financial analyses conducted on the municipal, regional and national levels, aimed at streamlining and strengthening government administration and management.2/ Economic and planning feasibility studies and demand analyses for proposed residential and commercial developments, including urban revitalization and public transport projects. 3/ Statutory plan management for residential, commercial and mixed-use development throughout the rezoning lifecycle, from preliminary concept through to entitlement. Plan management responsibilities comprise building the planning team budget, team member selection and engagement, drafting and coordinating planning alternatives and statutory documents through to submission for public scrutiny and all required approvals by the relevant local, regional and national planning committees. 4/ Negotiating long term development agreements between municipalities and government ministries, aimed at increasing the national housing supply while securing much-needed financing for citywide infrastructure projects (roads and transit, parks and green spaces, public utilities) and public uses (schools, community facilities).

The Global R&D team works with technology companies aiming to increase their R&D investments and technology transfer outputs. During my time at Deloitte, I connected clients with R&D / Innovation funding opportunities available through the European Union (Horizon 2020) and other bi-lateral programs. Funding instruments are often consortia-based, and require academic and industrial partners from the EU and neighboring countries. To this end, I advised clients throughout the entire process, including defining the project's R&D work plan, partnership building, and budget planning, through to proposal submission.I also managed the team's personnel (3 full time consultants) and day-to-day activities, namely its clients, projects, marketing and deal flow.

In this position, I coordinated a variety of planning processes including urban regeneration, local planning instruments, and Tama 38 projects. These statutory planning initiatives included calculating land use needs, weighing plan alternatives and liaising between planning team members comprised of municipal employees, architects, engineers and consultants.

While studying for my Master's at the Technion, I connected Technion researchers with grants, research opportunities and industry partners as part of the European Union's Seventh Framework Program (FP7).

As a fellow in the Urban Fellows Program ('09-'10), I worked on a number of multi-agency special projects, including the tracking and reporting of federal stimulus funds, collecting and analyzing data used to streamline the management of the city’s 26,000+ vehicle fleet, as well as drafting and releasing a citywide social media policy and best practice guide for the city’s 40+ agencies.

Maintained Excel-based systems to comprehensively track and analyze usage of five online career resources and web content for 20,000 users. In addition, I reviewed and provided feedback on 750 resumes for alumni seeking employment in a variety of fields across the public and private sectors.

Marketed volunteer and work-based programs at community events as well as over social media platforms. Reviewed program applications and interviewed applicants.
